I have been creating jewelry since the early 1990’s. I learned the basics from a friend and took a couple of classes at a local bead shop. Soon, I was getting advances on my $3 per week allowance to purchase beads. I made jewelry on and off for several years, but continued to pursue other artistic interests.

In 2004, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. I began making jewelry on a consistent basis again in about 2008. At that time, I adopted my current method of making my own beads out of paper, using resin to turn them into wearable works of art!
